The Bridge Crossing Program, located in Bridgton, Maine is a residential treatment program for children in need of a structured and therapeutic living environment.
The clinical team, comprised of psychiatry, nursing, clinical case management and a licensed clinician work closely with the child and their family to deliver highly individualized family, group and individual treatment grounded in a trauma informed approach. An array of Evidenced Based Clinical Practices are provided within a therapeutic living environment and extended into the youth’s home to increase permanency. The program specializes in working with families and is proud that it has achieved an overall permanency rate for participants of 80%. In addition to the program’s array of individual, group and family treatment Bridge Crossing also offers a variety of specialized clinical groups geared toward meeting the unique and individual needs of participating children.
Educational, day treatment and special educational services are provided by the Dodge House School or the public school district, which ever is best suited for the child’s educational needs.
Referrals must be approved by the State of Maine’s ITRT process.
