The Stetson Ranch Program, located in Stetson, Maine is an intensive treatment program for adolescents who are in need of highly structured, therapeutic services in order to be successful at home. The clinical team, comprised of psychiatry, nursing, clinical case management and a licensed clinician, works closely with the youth and their family to deliver intensive family, group and individual treatment grounded in a trauma informed approach. An array of evidenced based clinical practices are provided within a therapeutic living environment and are extended into the youth’s home to increase permanency. The program has weekly treatment reviews where clinical interventions, goals, and objectives are thoroughly reviewed as well as adjusted to insure their efficacy.
The program also provides educational services through an on-site, Special Purpose Private School. All students receive a full curriculum of classes, including vocational and computer technology. Teachers are fully certified and trained to teach students who have various needs and educational challenges.
Referrals must be approved by the State of Maine’s ITRT process.
