NFI North was awarded a 2023 Best Places to Work in Maine ranking, this year placing 9th.

This statewide survey is sent out and award programs identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in Maine, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce, and businesses. The survey is sent to the companies employees, and employees have the opportunity to offer their honest feedback. These results then get analyzed to see if the company is truly the "best."
This year, the 2023 Best Places to Work in Maine list is made up of 134 companies in three size categories: small (15-49 U.S. employees), medium (50-249 U.S. employees), and large (250+ U.S. employees). To be considered, companies must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
Have at least 15 full-time or part-time employees working in Maine;
Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
Be a public or privately held business;
Have a facility in the state of Maine;
Be in business for a minimum of one year.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Maine rankings. The first consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics, worth approximately 25% o the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which consisted of 75% of the total.
A celebration was held on October 11th where NFI North, as well as the other winners were celebrated. It was a wonderful celebration honoring all of the winners.
